For projects on Upwork

One first milestone.
One clear decision.

Review a product finish, a dimensioned part or a room layout. Start with the decision you need to make, then agree the files and scope.

Scope before commitment

Choose the result
you need first.

01 / First milestone

One product, one camera review

Approve form, framing and a material direction before commissioning an image set.

You receive

  • One clay preview and one material-and-lighting review image, each 1920 × 1440 PNG.
  • The agreed Blender scene and a short reopen note.

One consolidated revision on the agreed direction. Corrections needed to meet the accepted brief remain due.

Inputs, acceptance & scope
What to supply
One authorized existing model, a reference dimension, finish references, image use and accepted Blender delivery.
Acceptance
Agreed framing; proportions match the supplied reference dimension; materials follow approved references; no missing textures; PNG files checked and scene reopened.
Agreed scope
One existing object or assembly, simple studio background and up to five documented material families.
Outside this milestone
Heavy model repair, new product design, animation and a complete marketing image set. This is a review image.

02 / First milestone

One dimensioned concept part

Review one simple part and its dimensions before developing a larger assembly.

You receive

  • Editable parametric CadQuery source (.py), one STEP and a PDF with three dimensioned views.
  • A STEP reimport note comparing solid count and dimensions.

One consolidated revision within the accepted brief. Corrections needed to meet agreed dimensions remain due.

Inputs, acceptance & scope
What to supply
An authorized dimensioned sketch, units, intended concept use, up to ten agreed dimensions and accepted CadQuery/STEP formats.
Acceptance
Valid closed solid; agreed dimensions checked in the specified units; PDF views match STEP; exported STEP reopened and compared with source.
Agreed scope
One simple prismatic or revolved part for concept review. No invented manufacturing tolerances.
Outside this milestone
Complex freeform surfaces, reconstruction from scans, engineering or manufacturing approval, and native SolidWorks/Fusion files.

03 / First milestone

One room, two clay cameras

Approve room layout and framing before detailed furniture and final materials.

You receive

  • One measured room shell, up to six furniture volumes and two 1600 × 1200 clay PNG views.
  • A layout comparison PDF and the editable Blender scene.

One consolidated layout/framing revision on the agreed direction. Corrections needed to meet the accepted plan remain due.

Inputs, acceptance & scope
What to supply
Current dimensioned plan, ceiling height, openings, up to six furniture footprints, camera zones and accepted Blender delivery.
Acceptance
Room and openings match issued dimensions; furniture volumes match agreed footprints; two cameras show selected zones; no unagreed visible clash; scene reopened.
Agreed scope
One room up to 30 m², one layout and two camera views.
Outside this milestone
Detailed custom furniture, final material renders, complete decoration, native BIM, construction documents and regulatory approval.

A clay view is a neutral image without final materials, used to review form and framing. Confirm usable inputs, required software, price and dates before accepting the fixed scope. Work begins with an active contract and funded milestone. A new concept, part, camera, dimensional input or material direction is a separate milestone.

Prepare your brief

Four useful
starting points.

  1. The decision to make and the intended use of the result.
  2. Authorized files, reference dimensions and visual examples.
  3. Required software, editable files and final formats.
  4. Target date, budget and the person who reviews the milestone.

Keep all communication on Upwork before the contract. These examples are personal studies, not client commissions.
