Desk Swivel 01

A compact stand. An assembly made legible.

Assembled reference-card stand

A small object.
Decisions in every part.

Design an original desktop reference-card stand around three printable parts: a base, a swivel rail and a hand knob. A teal base and warm accent distinguish the stationary and moving components.

The CAD assembly, exploded view and fit coupons make the design intent inspectable. Seven meshes were sliced individually with CuraEngine; the digital checks do not replace a print on the intended machine.

Digital preparation only: physical fit has not been tested. Clamping, stability and durability remain unverified. Illustrative M6 hardware; no load or unconditional printability claim.

The work behind the form.

Inspect the shape without materials, then inspect selected paths from the actual slicing output. These are digital checks, not a photograph of a printed prototype.

What this study contains

From image
to editable source.

Five Blender images, editable scene, STEP assembly and parts, seven STL meshes, fit coupons and individual slicing evidence.

Scope and remaining validation

Digital preparation only: physical fit has not been tested. Clamping, stability and durability remain unverified. Illustrative M6 hardware; no load or unconditional printability claim.

Actual Blender renders and internal digital checks. Final human approval remains pending. This is a personal study, not a client commission.
